1 הוֺי עִיר דָּמִים כֻּלָּהּ כַּחַשׁ פֶּרֶק מְלֵאָה לֹא יָמִישׁ טָרֶף :

2 קוֺל שׁוֺט וְקוֺל רַעַשׁ אוֺפָן וְסוּס דֹּהֵר וּמֶרְכָּבָה מְרַקֵּדָה :

3 פָּרָשׁ מַעֲלֶה וְלַהַב חֶרֶב וּבְרַק חֲנִית וְרֹב חָלָל וְכֹבֶד פָּגֶר וְאֵין קֵצֶה לַגְּוִיָּה יִכְשְׁלוּ וְכָשְׁלוּ בִּגְוִיָּתָם :
Caballero enhiesto, y resplandor de espada, y resplandor de lanza; y multitud de muertos, y multitud de cadáveres; y de sus cadáveres no habrá fin, y en sus cadáveres tropezarán:Les cavaliers s'élancent, l'épée étincelle, la lance brille... 4 מֵרֹב זְנוּנֵי זוֺנָה טוֺבַת חֵן בַּעֲלַת כְּשָׁפִים הַמֹּכֶרֶת גּוֺיִם בִּזְנוּנֶיהָ וּמִשְׁפָּחוֺת בִּכְשָׁפֶיהָ :

5 הִנְנִי אֵלַיִךְ נְאֻם יְהוָה צְבָאוֺת וְגִלֵּיתִי שׁוּלַיִךְ עַל־ פָּנָיִךְ וְהַרְאֵיתִי גוֺיִם מַעְרֵךְ וּמַמְלָכוֺת קְלוֺנֵךְ :

6 וְהִשְׁלַכְתִּי עָלַיִךְ שִׁקֻּצִים וְנִבַּלְתִּיךְ וְשַׂמְתִּיךְ כְּרֹאִי :

7 וְהָיָה כָל־ רֹאַיִךְ יִדּוֺד מִמֵּךְ וְאָמַר שָׁדְּדָה נִינְוֵה מִי יָנוּד לָהּ מֵאַיִן אֲבַקֵּשׁ מְנַחֲמִים לָךְ :
Y será que todos los que te vieren, se apartarán de ti, y dirán: Nínive es asolada: ¿quién se compadecerá de ella? ¿dónde te buscaré consoladores?Tous ceux qui te verront fuiront loin de toi, Et l'on dira: Ninive est détruite! Qui la plaindra? Où te chercherai-je des consolateurs?E há de ser que, todos os que te virem, fugirão de ti, e dirão: Nínive está destruída, quem terá compaixão dela? Donde te buscarei consoladores?И будет то, что всякий, увидев тебя, побежит от тебя и скажет: "разорена Ниневия! Кто пожалеет о ней? где найду я утешителей для тебя?"daß alle, die dich sehen, vor dir fliehen und sagen sollen: Ninive ist zerstört; wer will Mitleid mit ihr haben? Who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?And all who look on you will shrink from you and say, Wasted is Nin'eveh; who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for her?ويكون كل من يراك يهرب منك ويقول خربت نينوى من يرثي لها. من اين اطلب لك معزّين
8 הֲתֵיטְבִי מִנֹּא אָמוֺן הַיֹּשְׁבָה בַּיְאֹרִים מַיִם סָבִיב לָהּ אֲשֶׁר־ חֵיל יָם מִיָּם חוֺמָתָהּ :

9 כּוּשׁ עָצְמָה וּמִצְרַיִם וְאֵין קֵצֶה פּוּט וְלוּבִים הָיוּ בְּעֶזְרָתֵךְ :

10 גַּם־ הִיא לַגֹּלָה הָלְכָה בַשֶּׁבִי גַּם עֹלָלֶיהָ יְרֻטְּשׁוּ בְּרֹאשׁ כָּל־ חוּצוֺת וְעַל־ נִכְבַּדֶּיהָ יַדּוּ גוֺרָל וְכָל־ גְּדוֺלֶיהָ רֻתְּקוּ בַזִּקִּים :
