21 verses

1 Ἀγαπητοί, μὴ παντὶ πνεύματι πιστεύετε, ἀλλὰ δοκιμάζετε τὰ πνεύματα εἰ ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστιν, ὅτι πολλοὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐξεληλύθασιν εἰς τὸν κόσμον.

AMADOS, no creáis á todo espíritu, sino probad los espíritus si son de Dios; porque muchos falsos profetas son salidos en el mundo.Bien-aimés, n'ajoutez pas foi à tout esprit; mais éprouvez les esprits, pour savoir s'ils sont de Dieu, car plusieurs faux prophètes sont venus dans le monde.AMADOS, não creiais a todo o espírito, mas provai se os espíritos são de Deus, porque já muitos falsos profetas se têm levantado no mundo.Возлюбленные! не всякому духу верьте, но испытывайте духов, от Бога ли они, потому что много лжепророков появилось в мире.Ihr Lieben, glaubet nicht einem jeglichen Geist, sondern prüfet die Geister, ob sie von Gott sind; denn es sind viel falsche Propheten ausgegangen in die Welt.親愛的弟兄阿、一切的靈、你們不可都信．總要試驗那些靈是出於神的不是．因為世上有許多假先知已經出來了。Sevgili kardeşlerim, her ruha inanmayın. Tanrıdan olup olmadıklarını anlamak için ruhları sınayın. Çünkü birçok sahte peygamber dünyanın her yanına yayılmış bulunuyor.亲爱的弟兄阿，一切的灵，你们不可都信，总要试验那些灵是出于神的不是，因为世上冇许多假先知已经出来了。Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Beloved, every spirit believe not, but prove the spirits, if of God they are, because many false prophets have gone forth to the world;Beloved, don`t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, if they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.ايها الاحباء لا تصدقوا كل روح بل امتحنوا الارواح هل هي من الله لان انبياء كذبة كثيرين قد خرجوا الى العالم.

2 ἐν τούτῳ ⸀γινώσκετε τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ θεοῦ· πᾶν πνεῦμα ὃ ὁμολογεῖ Ἰησοῦν Χριστὸν ἐν σαρκὶ ἐληλυθότα ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστιν,

En esto conoced el Espíritu de Dios: todo espíritu que confiesa que Jesucristo es venido en carne es de Dios:Reconnaissez à ceci l'Esprit de Dieu: tout esprit qui confesse Jésus Christ venu en chair est de Dieu;Nisto conhecereis o Espírito de Deus: Todo o espírito que confessa que Jesus Cristo veio em carne é de Deus;Духа Божия (и духа заблуждения) узнавайте так: всякий дух, который исповедует Иисуса Христа, пришедшего во плоти, есть от Бога;Daran sollt ihr den Geist Gottes erkennen: ein jeglicher Geist, der da bekennt, daß Jesus Christus ist in das Fleisch gekommen, der ist von Gott;凡靈認耶穌基督是成了肉身來的、就是出於神的．從此你們可以認出神的靈來。İsa Mesihin beden alıp dünyaya geldiğini kabul eden her ruh Tanrıdandır. Tanrının Ruhunu bununla tanıyacaksınız.凡灵认耶稣基督是成了肉身来的，就是出于神的；从此你们可以认出神的灵来。Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:Hereby know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:in this know ye the Spirit of God; every spirit that doth confess Jesus Christ in the flesh having come, of God it is,By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,Hereby ye know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses Jesus Christ come in flesh is of God;By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,بهذا تعرفون روح الله. كل روح يعترف بيسوع المسيح انه قد جاء في الجسد فهو من الله.

3 καὶ πᾶν πνεῦμα ὃ μὴ ὁμολογεῖ ⸀τὸν ⸀Ἰησοῦν ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν· καὶ τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ τοῦ ἀντιχρίστου, ὃ ἀκηκόατε ὅτι ἔρχεται, καὶ νῦν ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ ἐστὶν ἤδη.

Y todo espíritu que no confiesa que Jesucristo es venido en carne, no es de Dios: y éste es el espíritu del anticristo, del cual vosotros habéis oído que ha de venir, y que ahora ya está en el mundo.et tout esprit qui ne confesse pas Jésus n'est pas de Dieu, c'est celui de l'antéchrist, dont vous avez appris la venue, et qui maintenant est déjà dans le monde.E todo o espírito que não confessa que Jesus Cristo veio em carne não é de Deus; mas este é o espírito do anticristo, do qual já ouvistes que há de vir, e eis que já está no mundo.а всякий дух, который не исповедует Иисуса Христа, пришедшего во плоти, не есть от Бога, но это дух антихриста, о котором вы слышали, что он придет и теперь есть уже в мире.und ein jeglicher Geist, der da nicht bekennt, daß Jesus Christus ist in das Fleisch gekommen, der ist nicht von Gott. Und das ist der Geist des Widerchrists, von welchem ihr habt gehört, daß er kommen werde, und er ist jetzt schon in der Welt.凡靈不認耶穌、就不是出於神．這是那敵基督者的靈．你們從前聽見他要來．現在已經在世上了。İsayı kabul etmeyen hiçbir ruh Tanrıdan değildir. Böylesi, Mesih Karşıtının ruhudur. Onun geleceğini duydunuz. Zaten o şimdiden dünyadadır.凡灵不认耶稣，就不是出于神；这是那敌基督者的灵。你们从前听见他要来，现在已经在世上了。And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.and every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the [spirit] of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already.and every spirit that doth not confess Jesus Christ in the flesh having come, of God it is not; and this is that of the antichrist, which ye heard that it doth come, and now in the world it is already.and every spirit who doesn`t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.and every spirit which does not confess Jesus Christ come in flesh is not of God: and this is that [power] of the antichrist, [of] which ye have heard that it comes, and now it is already in the world.and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is in the world already.وكل روح لا يعترف بيسوع المسيح انه قد جاء في الجسد فليس من الله. وهذا هو روح ضد المسيح الذي سمعتم انه يأتي والآن هو في العالم.

4 ὑμεῖς ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστε, τεκνία, καὶ νενικήκατε αὐτούς, ὅτι μείζων ἐστὶν ὁ ἐν ὑμῖν ἢ ὁ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ·

Hijitos, vosotros sois de Dios, y los habéis vencido; porque el que en vosotros está, es mayor que el que está en el mundo.Vous, petits enfants, vous êtes de Dieu, et vous les avez vaincus, parce que celui qui est en vous est plus grand que celui qui est dans le monde.Filhinhos, sois de Deus, e já os tendes vencido; porque maior é o que está em vós do que o que está no mundo.Дети! вы от Бога, и победили их; ибо Тот, Кто в вас, больше того, кто в мире.Kindlein, ihr seid von Gott und habt jene überwunden; denn der in euch ist, ist größer, als der in der Welt ist.小子們哪、你們是屬神的、並且勝了他們．因為那在你們裡面的、比那在世界上的更大。Yavrularım, siz Tanrıdansınız ve sahte peygamberleri yendiniz. Çünkü sizde olan, dünyadakinden üstündür.小子们哪，你们是属神的，并且胜了他们；因为那在你们里面的，比那在世界上的更大。Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.Ye are of God, [my] little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.Ye -- of God ye are, little children, and ye have overcome them; because greater is He who [is] in you, than he who is in the world.You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.*Ye* are of God, children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that [is] in you than he that [is] in the world.Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.انتم من الله ايها الاولاد وقد غلبتموهم لان الذي فيكم اعظم من الذي في العالم.

5 αὐτοὶ ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου εἰσίν· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκ τοῦ κόσμου λαλοῦσιν καὶ ὁ κόσμος αὐτῶν ἀκούει.

Ellos son del mundo; por eso hablan del mundo, y el mundo los oye.Eux, ils sont du monde; c'est pourquoi ils parlent d'après le monde, et le monde les écoute.Do mundo são, por isso falam do mundo, e o mundo os ouve.Они от мира, потому и говорят по–мирски, и мир слушает их.Sie sind von der Welt; darum reden sie von der Welt, und die Welt hört sie.他們是屬世界的．所以論世界的事、世人也聽從他們。Sahte peygamberler dünyadandır. Bu nedenle söyledikleri sözler de dünyadandır ve dünya onları dinler.他们是属世界的，所以论世界的事，世人也听从他们。They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them.They are of the world: therefore speak they [as] of the world, and the world heareth them.They -- of the world they are; because of this from the world they speak, and the world doth hear them;They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.*They* are of the world; for this reason they speak [as] of the world, and the world hears them.They are of the world, therefore what they say is of the world, and the world listens to them.هم من العالم. من اجل ذلك يتكلمون من العالم والعالم يسمع لهم.

6 ἡμεῖς ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐσμεν· ὁ γινώσκων τὸν θεὸν ἀκούει ἡμῶν, ὃς οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐκ ἀκούει ἡμῶν. ἐκ τούτου γινώσκομεν τὸ πνεῦμα τῆς ἀληθείας καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα τῆς πλάνης.

Nosotros somos de Dios: el que conoce á Dios, nos oye: el que no es de Dios, no nos oye. Por esto conocemos el espíritu de verdad y el espíritu de error.Nous, nous sommes de Dieu; celui qui connaît Dieu nous écoute; celui qui n'est pas de Dieu ne nous écoute pas: c'est par là que nous connaissons l'esprit de la vérité et l'esprit de l'erreur.Nós somos de Deus; aquele que conhece a Deus ouve-nos; aquele que não é de Deus não nos ouve. Nisto conhecemos nós o espírito da verdade e o espírito do erro.Мы от Бога; знающий Бога слушает нас; кто не от Бога, тот не слушает нас. По сему–то узнаем духа истины и духа заблуждения.Wir sind von Gott, und wer Gott erkennt, der hört uns; welcher nicht von Gott ist, der hört uns nicht. Daran erkennen wir den Geist der Wahrheit und den Geist des Irrtums.我們是屬神的．認識神的就聽從我們．不屬神的就不聽從我們．從此我們可以認出真理的靈、和謬妄的靈來。Bizse Tanrıdanız; Tanrıyı tanıyan bizi dinler, Tanrıdan olmayan dinlemez. Gerçeğin Ruhuyla yalan ruhunu böyle ayırt ederiz.我们是属神的，认识神的就听从我们；不属神的就不听从我们。从此我们可以认出真理的灵和谬妄的灵来。We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he who is not of God heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.we -- of God we are; he who is knowing God doth hear us; he who is not of God, doth not hear us; from this we know the spirit of the truth, and the spirit of the error.We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn`t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.*We* are of God; he that knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.We are of God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and he who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.نحن من الله فمن يعرف الله يسمع لنا ومن ليس من الله لا يسمع لنا. من هذا نعرف روح الحق وروح الضلال.

7 Ἀγαπητοί, ἀγαπῶμεν ἀλλήλους, ὅτι ἡ ἀγάπη ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστιν, καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀγαπῶν ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ γεγέννηται καὶ γινώσκει τὸν θεόν.

Carísimos, amémonos unos á otros; porque el amor es de Dios. Cualquiera que ama, es nacido de Dios, y conoce á Dios.Bien-aimés, aimons nous les uns les autres; car l'amour est de Dieu, et quiconque aime est né de Dieu et connaît Dieu.Amados, amemo-nos uns aos outros; porque o amor é de Deus; e qualquer que ama é nascido de Deus e conhece a Deus.Возлюбленные! будем любить друг друга, потому что любовь от Бога, и всякий любящий рожден от Бога и знает Бога.Ihr Lieben, lasset uns untereinander liebhaben; denn die Liebe ist von Gott, und wer liebhat, der ist von Gott geboren und kennt Gott.親愛的弟兄阿、我們應當彼此相愛．因為愛是從神來的．凡有愛心的、都是由神而生、並且認識神。Sevgili kardeşlerim, birbirimizi sevelim. Çünkü sevgi Tanrıdandır. Seven herkes Tanrıdan doğmuştur ve Tanrıyı tanır.亲爱的弟兄阿，我们应当彼此相爱，因为爱是从神来的。凡冇爱心的，都是由神而生，并且认识神。Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.Beloved, may we love one another, because the love is of God, and every one who is loving, of God he hath been begotten, and doth know God;Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another; because love is of God, and every one that loves has been begotten of God, and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is born of God and knows God.ايها الاحباء لنحب بعضنا بعضا لان المحبة هي من الله وكل من يحب فقد ولد من الله ويعرف الله.

8 ὁ μὴ ἀγαπῶν οὐκ ἔγνω τὸν θεόν, ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστίν.

El que no ama, no conoce á Dios; porque Dios es amor.Celui qui n'aime pas n'a pas connu Dieu, car Dieu est amour.Aquele que não ama não conhece a Deus; porque Deus é amor.Кто не любит, тот не познал Бога, потому что Бог есть любовь.Wer nicht liebhat, der kennt Gott nicht; denn Gott ist Liebe.沒有愛心的、就不認識神．因為神就是愛。Sevmeyen kişi Tanrıyı tanımaz. Çünkü Tanrı sevgidir.没冇爱心的，就不认识神，因为神就是爱。He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.he who is not loving did not know God, because God is love.He who doesn`t love doesn`t know God, for God is love.He that loves not has not known God; for God is love.He who does not love does not know God; for God is love.ومن لا يحب لم يعرف الله لان الله محبة.

9 ἐν τούτῳ ἐφανερώθη ἡ ἀγάπη τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν ἡμῖν, ὅτι τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ τὸν μονογενῆ ἀπέσταλκεν ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸν κόσμον ἵνα ζήσωμεν δι’ αὐτοῦ.

En esto se mostró el amor de Dios para con nosotros, en que Dios envió á su Hijo unigénito al mundo, para que vivamos por él.L'amour de Dieu a été manifesté envers nous en ce que Dieu a envoyé son Fils unique dans le monde, afin que nous vivions par lui.Nisto se manifesta o amor de Deus para conosco: que Deus enviou seu Filho unigênito ao mundo, para que por ele vivamos.Любовь Божия к нам открылась в том, что Бог послал в мир Единородного Сына Своего, чтобы мы получили жизнь через Него.Daran ist erschienen die Liebe Gottes gegen uns, daß Gott seinen eingeborenen Sohn gesandt hat in die Welt, daß wir durch ihn leben sollen.神差他獨生子到世間來、使我們藉著他得生、神愛我們的心、在此就顯明了。Tanrı biricik Oğlu aracılığıyla yaşayalım diye Onu dünyaya gönderdi, böylece bizi sevdiğini gösterdi.神差他独生子到世间来，使我们藉着他得生，神爱我们的心在此就显明了。In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.In this was manifested the love of God in us, because His Son -- the only begotten -- hath God sent to the world, that we may live through him;By this was God`s love revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.Herein as to us has been manifested the love of God, that God has sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.بهذا أظهرت محبة الله فينا ان الله قد ارسل ابنه الوحيد الى العالم لكي نحيا به.

10 ἐν τούτῳ ἐστὶν ἡ ἀγάπη, οὐχ ὅτι ἡμεῖς ⸀ἠγαπήκαμεν τὸν θεόν, ἀλλ’ ὅτι αὐτὸς ἠγάπησεν ἡμᾶς καὶ ἀπέστειλεν τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἱλασμὸν περὶ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ἡμῶν.

En esto consiste el amor: no que nosotros hayamos amado á Dios, sino que él nos amó á nosotros, y ha enviado á su Hijo en propiciación por nuestros pecados.Et cet amour consiste, non point en ce que nous avons aimé Dieu, mais en ce qu'il nous a aimés et a envoyé son Fils comme victime expiatoire pour nos péchés.Nisto está o amor, não em que nós tenhamos amado a Deus, mas em que ele nos amou a nós, e enviou seu Filho para propiciação pelos nossos pecados.В том любовь, что не мы возлюбили Бога, но Он возлюбил нас и послал Сына Своего в умилостивление за грехи наши.Darin steht die Liebe: nicht, daß wir Gott geliebt haben, sondern daß er uns geliebt hat und gesandt seinen Sohn zur Versöhnung für unsre Sünden.不是我們愛神、乃是神愛我們、差他的兒子、為我們的罪作了挽回祭、這就是愛了。Tanrıyı biz sevmiş değildik, ama O bizi sevdi ve Oğlunu günahlarımızı bağışlatan kurban olarak dünyaya gönderdi. 11 ἀγαπητοί, εἰ οὕτως ὁ θεὸς ἠγάπησεν ἡμᾶς, καὶ ἡμεῖς ὀφείλομεν ἀλλήλους ἀγαπᾶν.

Amados, si Dios así nos ha amado, debemos también nosotros amarnos unos á otros.Bien-aimés, si Dieu nous a ainsi aimés, nous devons aussi nous aimer les uns les autres.Amados, se Deus assim nos amou, também nós devemos amar uns aos outros.Возлюбленные! если так возлюбил нас Бог, то и мы должны любить друг друга.Ihr Lieben, hat uns Gott also geliebt, so sollen wir uns auch untereinander lieben.親愛的弟兄阿、神既是這樣愛我們、我們也當彼此相愛。Sevgili kardeşlerim, Tanrı bizi bu kadar çok sevdiğine göre biz de birbirimizi sevmeye borçluyuz.亲爱的弟兄阿，神既是这样爱我们，我们也当彼此相爱。Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.Beloved, if thus did God love us, we also ought one another to love;Beloved, if God loved us so, we also ought to love one another.Beloved, if God has so loved us, we also ought to love one another.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.ايها الاحباء ان كان الله قد احبنا هكذا ينبغي لنا ايضا ان يحب بعضنا بعضا.

12 θεὸν οὐδεὶς πώποτε τεθέαται· ἐὰν ἀγαπῶμεν ἀλλήλους, ὁ θεὸς ἐν ἡμῖν μένει καὶ ἡ ἀγάπη αὐτοῦ ⸂ἐν ἡμῖν τετελειωμένη ἐστιν⸃.

Ninguno vió jamás á Dios. Si nos amamos unos á otros, Dios está en nosotros, y su amor es perfecto en nosotros:Personne n'a jamais vu Dieu; si nous nous aimons les uns les autres, Dieu demeure en nous, et son amour est parfait en nous.Ninguém jamais viu a Deus; se nos amamos uns aos outros, Deus está em nós, e em nós é perfeito o seu amor.Бога никто никогда не видел. Если мы любим друг друга, то Бог в нас пребывает, и любовь Его совершенна есть в нас.Niemand hat Gott jemals gesehen. So wir uns untereinander lieben, so bleibt Gott in uns, und seine Liebe ist völlig in uns.從來沒有人見過神．我們若彼此相愛、神就住在我們裡面、愛他的心在我們裡面得以完全了．Hiç kimse hiçbir zaman Tanrıyı görmüş değildir. Ama birbirimizi seversek, Tanrı içimizde yaşar ve sevgisi içimizde yetkinleşmiş olur.从来没冇人见过神，我们若彼此相爱，神就住在我们里面，爱他的心在我们里面得以完全了。No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.No man has seen God at any time. 13 Ἐν τούτῳ γινώσκομεν ὅτι ἐν αὐτῷ μένομεν καὶ αὐτὸς ἐν ἡμῖν, ὅτι ἐκ τοῦ πνεύματος αὐτοῦ δέδωκεν ἡμῖν.

14 καὶ ἡμεῖς τεθεάμεθα καὶ μαρτυροῦμεν ὅτι ὁ πατὴρ ἀπέσταλκεν τὸν υἱὸν σωτῆρα τοῦ κόσμου.

15 ὃς ⸀ἐὰν ὁμολογήσῃ ὅτι ⸀Ἰησοῦς ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ, ὁ θεὸς ἐν αὐτῷ μένει καὶ αὐτὸς ἐν τῷ θεῷ.

16 καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐγνώκαμεν καὶ πεπιστεύκαμεν τὴν ἀγάπην ἣν ἔχει ὁ θεὸς ἐν ἡμῖν. Ὁ θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστίν, καὶ ὁ μένων ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ ἐν τῷ θεῷ μένει καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἐν αὐτῷ ⸀μένει.

17 ἐν τούτῳ τετελείωται ἡ ἀγάπη μεθ’ ἡμῶν, ἵνα παρρησίαν ἔχωμεν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς κρίσεως, ὅτι καθὼς ἐκεῖνός ἐστιν καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐσμεν ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ τούτῳ.

18 φόβος οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ, ἀλλ’ ἡ τελεία ἀγάπη ἔξω βάλλει τὸν φόβον, ὅτι ὁ φόβος κόλασιν ἔχει, ὁ δὲ φοβούμενος οὐ τετελείωται ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ.

En amor no hay temor; mas el perfecto amor echa fuera el temor: porque el temor tiene pena. De donde el que teme, no está perfecto en el amor.La crainte n'est pas dans l'amour, mais l'amour parfait bannit la crainte; car la crainte suppose un châtiment, et celui qui craint n'est pas parfait dans l'amour.No amor não há temor, antes o perfeito amor lança fora o temor; porque o temor tem consigo a pena, e o que teme não é perfeito em amor.В любви нет страха, но совершенная любовь изгоняет страх, потому что в страхе есть мучение. Боящийся несовершен в любви.Furcht ist nicht in der Liebe, sondern die völlige Liebe treibt die Furcht aus; denn die Furcht hat Pein. Wer sich aber fürchtet, der ist nicht völlig in der Liebe.愛裡沒有懼怕．愛既完全、就把懼怕除去．因為懼怕裡含著刑罰．懼怕的人在愛裡未得完全。Sevgide korku yoktur. Tersine, yetkin sevgi korkuyu siler atar. Çünkü korku işkencedir. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love.لا خوف في المحبة بل المحبة الكاملة تطرح الخوف الى خارج لان الخوف له عذاب واما من خاف فلم يتكمل في المحبة.

19 ἡμεῖς ⸀ἀγαπῶμεν, ὅτι αὐτὸς πρῶτος ἠγάπησεν ἡμᾶς.

Nosotros le amamos á él, porque él nos amó primero.Pour nous, nous l'aimons, parce qu'il nous a aimés le premier.Nós o amamos a ele porque ele nos amou primeiro.Будем любить Его, потому что Он прежде возлюбил нас.Lasset uns ihn lieben; denn er hat uns zuerst geliebt.我們愛、因為神先愛我們。Bizse seviyoruz, çünkü önce O bizi sevdi.我们爱，因为神先爱我们。We love him, because he first loved us.We love him, because he first loved us.We love, because he first loved us.we -- we love him, because He -- He first loved us;We love Him, because he first loved us.*We* love because *he* has first loved us.We love, because he first loved us.نحن نحبه لانه هو احبنا اولا.

20 ἐάν τις εἴπῃ ὅτι Ἀγαπῶ τὸν θεόν, καὶ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ μισῇ, ψεύστης ἐστίν· ὁ γὰρ μὴ ἀγαπῶν τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ ὃν ἑώρακεν, τὸν θεὸν ὃν οὐχ ἑώρακεν ⸀οὐ δύναται ἀγαπᾶν.

Si alguno dice, Yo amo á Dios, y aborrece á su hermano, es mentiroso. Porque el que no ama á su hermano al cual ha visto, ¿cómo puede amar á Dios á quien no ha visto?Si quelqu'un dit: J'aime Dieu, et qu'il haïsse son frère, c'est un menteur; car celui qui n'aime pas son frère qu'il voit, comment peut-il aimer Dieu qu'il ne voit pas?Se alguém diz: Eu amo a Deus, e odeia a seu irmão, é mentiroso. Denn wer seinen Bruder nicht liebt, den er sieht, wie kann er Gott lieben, den er nicht sieht?人若說、我愛神、卻恨他的弟兄、就是說謊話的．不愛他所看見的弟兄、就不能愛沒有看見的神。〔有古卷作怎能愛沒有看見的神呢〕‹‹Tanrıyı seviyorum›› deyip de kardeşinden nefret eden yalancıdır. 21 καὶ ταύτην τὴν ἐντολὴν ἔχομεν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ, ἵνα ὁ ἀγαπῶν τὸν θεὸν ἀγαπᾷ καὶ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ.
