Böylece bütün bunları düşünüp taşındım ve şu sonuca vardım: Doğrular, bilgeler ve yaptıkları her şey Tanrının elindedir. Onları sevginin mi, nefretin mi beklediğini kimse bilmez. For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them. For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knows either love or hatred by all that is before them. For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this: that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; whether it be love or hatred, man knoweth it not; all is before them. But all this I have laid unto my heart, so as to clear up the whole of this, that the righteous and the wise, and their works, [are] in the hand of God, neither love nor hatred doth man know, the whole [is] before them. For all this I laid to my heart, even to make clear all this: that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; whether it be love or hatred, man knoweth it not; all is before them. For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this: that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; whether it is love or hatred, man doesn`t know it; all is before them. For all this I laid to my heart and [indeed] to investigate all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; man knoweth neither love nor hatred: all is before them. But all this I laid to heart, examining it all, how the righteous and the wise and their deeds are in the hand of God; whether it is love or hate man does not know. Everything before them is vanity,لان هذا كله جعلته في قلبي وامتحنت هذا كله ان الصديقين والحكماء واعمالهم في يد الله.

2 Onlar için artık ödül yoktur, 2 Anıları bile unutulmuştur. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. For the living know that they die, and the dead know not anything, and there is no more to them a reward, for their remembrance hath been forgotten. For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. For the living know that they will die, but the dead don`t know anything, neither do they have any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward; but the memory of them is lost.

И обратился я, и видел под солнцем, что не проворным достается успешный бег, не храбрым – победа, не мудрым – хлеб, и не у разумных – богатство, и не искусным – благорасположение, но время и случай для всех их.Ich wandte mich und sah, wie es unter der Sonne zugeht, daß zum Laufen nicht hilft schnell zu sein, zum Streit hilft nicht stark sein, zur Nahrung hilft nicht geschickt sein, zum Reichtum hilft nicht klug sein; daß einer angenehm sei, dazu hilft nicht, daß er ein Ding wohl kann; sondern alles liegt an Zeit und Glück. Güneşin altında bir şey daha gördüm: 2 Yarışı hızlı koşanlar, 2 Savaşı yiğitler, 2 Ekmeği bilgeler, 2 Serveti akıllılar, 2 Beğeniyi bilgililer kazanmaz. 2 Ama zaman ve şans hepsinin önüne çıkar. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all.I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.I have turned so as to see under the sun, that not to the swift [is] the race, nor to the mighty the battle, nor even to the wise bread, nor even to the intelligent wealth, nor even to the skilful grace, for time and chance happen with them all.I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to the intelligent, nor yet favour to men of knowledge; but time and chance happeneth to them all.Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to the men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

Dahası insan kendi vaktini bilmez: 2 Balığın acımasız ağa, kuşun kapana düştüğü gibi, 2 İnsanlar da üzerlerine ansızın çöken kötü zamana yakalanırlar. For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. For man also knows not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them. For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. For even man knoweth not his time; as fish that are taken hold of by an evil net, and as birds that are taken hold of by a snare, like these [are] the sons of man snared at an evil time, when it falleth upon them suddenly. For man also knoweth not his time; as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. For man also doesn`t know his time. Like fish which are taken in an evil net, and like birds which are caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.
